The Racecourse

The Racecourse spans more than 118 acres, and is one of the largest parks in Northampton, ideal for strolling with family and friends. It has 6 all-weather hard courts, in two blocks of 3 courts with two different access gates. If you are looking to book a floodlit court, click here. Unfortunately, there are no changing facilities on-site and courts are not wheelchair friendly. The onsite Umbrella Café provides refreshments and houses the public toilets which solves the problem of finding a brew, a loo and something to do!

So whether you’re looking for a fun, social game of doubles with friends, a casual hit with family or battling for bragging rights in a singles league match, The Racecourse is the perfect venue.

Customers will be pleased to know that the venue operates a pay-as-you-play booking system. This means sports enthusiasts can easily book online at any point in advance, without the commitment of a membership fee, it’s as simple as search – book – play.

Parking is free onsite off East Park Parade. Alternatively, the closest bus stops are 2 / 6 / 7 / 7B which stop just outside the courts.
