Stanley Deason Leisure Centre has an indoor football pitch available to hire. The pitch is located in the sports hall, meaning you can play all year round and no need to worry about the rain or cold temperatures. Located within walking distance of Brighton station, this venue is in a very easily accessible location for football matches. Some parking is available at the venue however these cannot be guaranteed before arrival.
Moulsecoomb Community Leisure Centre boasts an excellent 5-a-side indoor football pitch, offering an alternative to the superb outdoor pitches throughout the winter months. If there is some adverse weather but you still want to keep active, check out this centre - you won’t be disappointed. Open until 11pm on weekdays, there is no excuse not to get down after work for a kick-about. The venue is also easily accessible by either car (free parking for customers) or train, with Moulsecoomb station located just a short walk away. If you’re looking to hire a 5-a-side pitch in Brighton, this is the venue for you.
BACA Sports Centre is based in the shadows of Falmer Stadium, officially known as American Express Community Stadium thanks to a sponsorship agreement. BACA has everything you need as a grassroots five-a-side lover as it has outdoor and indoor areas for football matches. The pristine 3G outside pitch can be split up into four separate pitches. For those wanting an indoor version there are two sports halls with all the correct 5-a-side markings and movable goals. Parking is available for free once outside of school hours.
The Manor Gym is located in East Brighton and boasts a 3G astroturf 7 a side football pitch. The playing surface means that games can be played on it all year round come rain or shine. Whether you're a casual players look for games or an experienced team, this venue is a great place to play football. The nearest station is Brighton and the number 37 bus stops close to the venue. Parking is also available on site for those wishing to drive.
The 3G astroturf 7 a side football pitch at Dorothy Stringer School is available to hire outside of school hours and during school holidays. The 3G astroturf playing surface means it is suitable to play on throughout all weather conditions. The venue is located in Withdean, meaning the nearest station is Preston Park. Not only is it just a short walk from the station, there is also parking available at the venue for those wanting to drive.
BACA Sports Centre has one of the best 3G 11-a-side pitches in the local area. There is free parking available after school hours for any footballers arriving by car. If public transport is more your vibe, then use the nearby train station and that’s a very short walk from the main BACA entrance. Floodlights surround the 3G pitch to allow games to be played throughout the year. The goal nets and pitch markings are all in good order and maintained by the expert staff. If you need to hire footballs or bibs, it’s worth checking in with reception before turning up to see if that’s possible.
Located in East Brighton, Stanley Deason Leisure Centre is a very popular venue. There are many different surfaces and pitch sizes to play on here, making it appealing for football teams of all abilities and sizes. 5 a side pitches are available for hire on astroturf, 3G astroturf and indoor playing surfaces. The astroturf and 3G astroturf pitches are also available for hire in 11 a side format. Parking is available at the venue, or alternatively, the number 21 bus stops right outside.
The University of Brighton continues to develop its sporting facilities and now boats a superb 11-a-side 3G astroturf pitch, situated within the Falmer campus - directly next to Brighton and Hove Albion’s Amex Stadium. The state of the art pitch is perfect for either training or matches, it won’t leave you disappointed. Located just a short walk from Falmer station, the campus is easily accessible via a short walk, however there is also free parking for those driving. Round up some mates and enjoy the beautiful game on this cracking pitch.
