Handball is hugely popular in Brighton. The city has lots of handball courts where you can get involved, with matches nearly always played indoors. Sports halls provide the perfect area to have a game and you will need to get yourself 14 players, seven for each side and that includes a goalkeeper. Handball is a high-scoring game and incredibly fast-paced to ensure fitness and speed are tested to the maximum. The sport is equally as fun played in men’s, women’s and mixed teams. There are leagues for handball teams to join, one-off tournaments and just casual fixtures.
