Each pitch is 3G and meticulously looked after by the passionate and knowledgeable staff. The football pitches at Powerleague Birmingham are either 5-a-side or 7-a-side. There are floodlights surrounding all the pitches to enable footballers to enjoy matches for 12 months of the year. Before placing a booking, please check with the venue manager about what footwear is allowed. The venue hosts casual games as well as tournament and competitive leagues. Hiring equipment is usually an option, but do call ahead if you need a ball.

Football is hugely popular here and there are 11-a-side options on grass and astroturf. If you’re looking for a shorter format match, then Light Hall School has 5-a-side astroturf outdoor pitch or indoor option for the winter months. Grassroots players can also book rugby, hockey, cricket, badminton, basketball, tennis and netball. Each sport offers casual games as well as competitive action for those wanting regular matches throughout the season.
Holte School is hugely popular with grassroot sports players living in and around Birmingham. The school is renowned for its football pitches and visitors can take their pick11-a-side and 5-a-side football options. The 11-a-side pitch is astroturf and can also be used for the smaller version of the beautiful game. There is also an indoor pitch for those footballers wanting to keep a bit warmer in the winter months. Rugby, hockey, badminton, basketball, netball, cricket, handball, tennis and athletics are all possible to book online or through the award-winning app. Each of these grassroots sports is possible to enjoy as one-off games or a block booking.
