Weston Park is a beautiful 5-hectare park based in the city centre and a short walk from an award winning park-based museum. The 2 x refurbished hard (macadam) tennis courts are easily accessed off Winter Street and are popular with university students and staff, as well as locals and visitors. These courts serve as a fitting legacy to Sheffield's famous tennis talisman Roger Taylor, who played here in his formative years, coached by his mother.
So whether you’re looking for a fun mini-tennis session with the kids a, social game of doubles with friends or battling for bragging rights in a singles league match, Weston Park is the perfect venue.
Customers will be pleased to know that the venue operates a pay-as-you-play booking system across all tennis activities. This means sports enthusiasts can easily book online at any point in advance, without the commitment of a membership fee, it’s as simple as search – book – play.
There are some free parking spaces on local roads around the park, alternatively the closest bus routes are 10 / 95 / 95a that stop just outside the courts on Winter Street.
