There are also gym and swimming facilities and 2 squash courts including an internal league if you’re looking for a competitive game. The venue has free parking and is located within walking distance of Mitcham Junction rail station if you’d rather take public transport.
If you’re after an 11 a side football pitch in Merton, Abbey Recreation Ground have a full sized astroturf pitch, available to book all day every day as long as the evenings allow. With pay and display parking and changing room facilities, it’s easy as ever to pop down after work or on the weekend and get a game in. The ground also has excellent public transport links with South Wimbledon underground station nearby and local trams running under 5 minutes from the venue.
