Sacred Heart Catholic School scoops September’s Outstanding London Sports Venue Award

Sacred Heart Catholic School has scooped Playfinder’s Outstanding London Sports Venue Award for the month of September.
The school is around the corner from Clapham Junction station, on Este Road, and is one of the finest places to enjoy grassroots football in Wandsworth. Players are able to get involved in 5-a-side and 6-a-side fixtures on a pristine 3G astro pitch surrounded by floodlights.
Football567 organise fixtures for adult teams and individuals every week and each features live in-play match updates enhance the experience. In-depth team and player stats are recorded to ensure everyone knows who is top scorer and worst fouler, although the FA referees do an excellent job officiating the action.
This month’s grassroots award, which is determined by Playfinder users, was based on pitch quality, venue amenities and customer experience.
Playfinder is a platform for sports players who want to find and book sports venues in London. Users have the choice of over 7,000 venues across the city for 16 featured sports.

We currently run afterwork 6 aside leagues, free community sessions for children, kids parties and we even host a family fun afternoon session on Sundays. Our new surface is only 1 year old and as planned, we’re meeting all of our community objectives.”
