Cricket Allocation Process for Playfinder Partner Venues

Playfinder aims to facilitate cricket bookings for every customer, and we’re aware of the urgency to have a pitch confirmed for the upcoming season. We also want to make sure everyone has the same chance to be allocated to the limited grounds.

Allocation Process

Cricket enquiries can be submitted at any time during the year. We will acknowledge the enquiry, but no more further details regarding pricing, availability, facility layout, or starting dates will be given until February when the allocation process begins.

Initially, we will determine the level of interest for the pitches before we start the allocation process.  We manage the use of the facilities by emailing a booking form to everyone who has submitted an enquiry, or previously booked the pitches, requesting more information about their team and League affiliation.

When we have the completed forms of all interested parties, we will move to Phase 1 of the allocation process by confirming the requirements of the previous season’s bookers.

Once their allocation is complete, we move onto Phase 2 of the process, which considers all the new allocation requests.

Lastly, please note that we can’t guarantee fixtures or provide dates as we work closely with Cricket Leagues that pre-arrange the fixtures for the teams within their league. However, we will do our best to accommodate your request.

We aim to have all the teams allocated by early March.
